Dear Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, and Community

The Adventures of Kaboose the Rocky Mountain Bear is a Children’s Book Series to teach kids fun outdoor recreational skills and learn to live in harmony with Mother Nature and all her communities.  With over 40 audiobooks currently in production, we are excited to bring each audiobook to life.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, daycare professional, outdoor recreational sports or activities coach, or conservation professional, you’ve likely searched high and low for the best resources on teaching children how to enjoy the great outdoors and open air and live in harmony with Mother Nature.

It isn’t easy to find children’s stories rooted in outdoor activities developed from children’s creative, active minds and real-life experiences. Our grandchildren, co-authors, co-audiobook storytellers, and content producers share their recreational adventures that teach outdoor skills in the Rocky Mountains and area to children ages 4 to 10—fostering respect between different cultures and the wildlife living in the area and encouraging children to help solve environmental issues.

The history of the Rocky Mountains is rich with wildlife, indigenous people, the arrival of settlers, the need for law and order, the early days of the railway, fur trading, mining, and the ultimate beginning of tourism that feeds today’s area backbone.

With the creation and continuing support of the National, Provincial, and State parks, Canada and the United States are protecting and fostering Mother Nature and her Rocky Mountains in all her glory.

If you’re searching for a resource that will help you teach young children how to use today’s technology, connect to active outdoor recreation, and embrace open-air activities with their physical, mental, social, and spiritual development in a fun and engaging way, look no further.

We will share lessons through the stories of downhill skiing, horseback riding in the snow, mountain climbing, hiking, white-water rafting, the need to be cautious with fire, the importance of school and community, and so much more.

The Adventures of Kaboose, the Rocky Mountain Book series, connects children to nature in all its beauty and what, why and how children play a role.

What Readers' Reviews are Saying

"As an Early Childhood Educator, I also appreciate that over and above recounting of a story- the book also creates opportunity to "engage" the reader in recollecting childhood memories of their own, through words and drawings that can be added in the form of a reflective journal entry at the end of the story"

I think that The Adventures of Kaboose the Rocky Mountain Bear is a great children’s book because it has its own unique way of tying in history and culture of the Rocky Mountains as well, for its touch on nature.
