Moments in Motion to Moments in Time: bringing in the New Year.
As human beings, we share many common things; however, most things are not together.
How can we share everyday things but not together?
We call these moments.
Many times, our moments are spent alone. Only through televised or posted live events do we find ourselves coming together.
Technology Pushed to Carry More of Our Moments
In today’s technological world, we can share moments separated by distance. However, we are brought together through audio and video that we view simultaneously.
As a Children’s Book Author Podcaster, Adventures in the Heart of Children’s Book Authors Podcast, however, I have the transparency to know when someone listens to our podcast show and what country our listeners live in. I don’t know who the individual is; however, knowing someone is listening is a moment I am forever grateful for.
Think of a sporting event like the Olympics, where many people from hundreds of countries are viewing the same thing at the same time as us. We are all in the exact moment together.
We will all be in the New Year’s moment tonight, and we don’t have to be in the same home, area, city or country to be together.
This week, I had the pleasure of interviewing Denise Caesare, the author of Moments in Motion with Love.
Denise wrote her children’s book due to something we all shared globally: the COVID-19 pandemic. Part of Denise’s motivation was to help children who were perplexed by the craziness of the pandemic.
These children were going to school in person and socializing with their friends and, in the next moment, complete lockdown, prisoners in their own homes.
Denise’s Moments in Motion with Love was helpful for children and adults alike during the pandemic. In her interview, Denise gives insights into how the principles in her book strengthened the bond with herself, students, and their parents.
Over four years later, the motion continues in Denise’s message, and from this motion, Denise has developed other helpful programs and insights. This information will be available in the shownotes. (Episode 11, The Power of Love and Connection in Children’s Books)
Moments in Motion to Moments in Time: bringing in the New Year.
During the holiday break, many of us spend time with our children or grandchildren, and the pandemic is a distant memory for most.
Use the time before most children return to school to embrace these moments more than ever. We can remember when we couldn’t spend moments with family and were almost locked in time with no motion.
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, I will post my interview with Denise.
Even if you are reading this post in the next week or so, take a moment to ask yourself how you can impact a young life in 2025 and ensure that the lesson you share is that life can be fragile; don’t wait for tomorrow. Act on the moments you are living right now and make each day in 2025 special.
Put Your Happy New Year in Motion, and Cheers!
